Our school Newbridge Heights is in Chipping Norton near Liverpool in Sydney. The school is near the Georges River. We have twenty two classes and approximately twenty five teachers with five hundred and fifty students in the school.

Our school has lots of sporting events and activities both in and out of school. Some of our sporting events include the Cross Country Carnival, the Swimming Carnival and the Athletics Carnival. For the Cross Country carnival we regularly practice long distance running. As the athletics carnival is being held very soon we are training regularly in long jump, high jump, shot put and discus.

We go to Newbridge Heights Public School and our class is 3E. Our class teacher is Mrs Elliot. Our library teacher is Mrs Tyrrell. There are 22 classes in our school with 555 children. Newbridge Heights School is located in Chipping Norton which is near Liverpool in Sydney.

Every Friday we do PSSA sport, Fit Kid and AFL to keep us fit. On Tuesday afternoons after school some of us do Hip Hop, Dance and Skipping. Every week, once a term all of us do dance and gymnastics with our class.

Yo Rappers!

We are the fully sick kids from Blaxcell Street Public School in South Granville, NSW. We are two Year 3 classes, 3M and 3H, and our teachers are Miss McKeowen and Miss Hyde, and our teacher librarian is Mr O’Connor. We think that we are the two best classes in the WHOLE school.

Most of the people in our classes can speak more than one language, such as French, Arabic, Japanese, Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), Vietnamese, Tagalog, Korean, Maori, Hindi, Afghani, Somali and Dari.

We are sorry that we did not introduce ourselves last week but we were at Homebush (home of the Sydney 2000 Olympic games) for our school athletics carnival. The sports that we like to play are high jump, running, soccer, swimming, touch football, shot put and long jump.

We are looking forward to watching the Olympics and cheering Australia on as they go for gold.

Peace Out!
3M & 3H @ Blaxcell Street PS

Hi fellow rappers,

We are 6R from Kooringal P.S in Wagga Wagga. Our teacher is Ms Robins and she is awesome. We are studying the Olympics with Ms Robins and rapping with our wonderful librarian, Mrs Cox.

We have a lot of keen sporting students in our class. One of our girls, Ashlea, is off to the Pacific School Games representing NSW in wheelchair basketball in the under 14's team. 3 boys have competed at state carnivals representing Riverina.

Our debating team is going to finals for Riverina. Last week we celebrated NAIDOC and this week we are going to our local library as part of Book Week.

We look forward to enjoying our very first rap.
Cheers and goodbye for now
